Like a Virgin: A Note From the Editor
So this is the first ever Daily Cal Sex Issue. Which makes me the first ever Sex Issue editor. I guess it's like they say-you never forget your first time, huh? It's been anything but anticlimactic with my lovely reporters-who explored topics like sperm donation and Senegalese sex tactics. A huge thanks to Andrew, my design hunk for working his special magic and Paul T. for posing in his skivvies. I hope you think this first-ever issue is unforgettable too. Enjoy.

A Fistful of Knowledge
I'm ba-aaaaaaaack! Alright, so most of you don't know who the hell I am-alas, fame is so fleeting! I had the pleasure of writing the Sex on Tuesday column in the spring and fall of 1998. Ah yes, that not so distant past when Monica Lewinsky cigar jokes were in, countless women swore (and prayed) that Ricky Martin was straight, Britney Spears was okay because she was a self-proclaimed virgin, and "The Bachelor" was nothing more than some executive producer's wet dream. My, how times change.

Reporter's Notebook: Sex in Africa: A Jungle of Difference
SAINT LOUIS, Senegal-Less than a week after arriving here, where I am currently doing an eight month study abroad, I learned the meaning of the Wolof word "sai-sai."

Good Vibrations Gives Patrons Bang for Buck
In any quest to find a suitable sex shop, one need not travel across the Bay Bridge and brave the mile-long "Smut District" in San Francisco known to many as Market Street. Instead, I had the pleasure (pardon the pun) of visiting Good Vibrations, the (in)famous Berkeley institution known for its array of sex-related merchandise.

Make Every Girl Loathe You: Authors Make Flaccid Debut
Although worship of naive optimism has seemingly petered out in our post quantum-Freud-recession era, sex self-help books still manage to float near the boundaries of reality. Scenario:

Sex on Tuesday Exposes Six Years of Sexcapades
For the past five (almost six) years, one column has titillated, disgusted, and intrigued readers of The Daily Californian every week. Sex on Tuesday, the pioneer in collegiate sex columns, is one of the most widely-read portions of the Daily Cal.

ONLINE ONLY: A Major in Sex Studies
Enjoy sex so much you wish you could major in it? A sex studies major is something UC Berkeley is without despite offering a women's studies major and a minor in Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender studies.

ONLINE ONLY: The World of Sperm Donation
Thought getting into Berkeley was hard?  That's like walking your dog compared to getting to be a sperm donor. The Sperm Bank of California has a blistering 10 percent acceptance rate compared to UC Berkeley's 24 percent.
