In an emotional outbreak at last night's ASUC Senate meeting, Fong Twin Brothers Senator Chris Fong threatened to injure Berkeley College Republicans Senator Paul LaFata, after a misunderstanding.

"If you and (Student Action) Senator (Cliff) Costa try and fuck me over on this one, I am going to shove this Snapple bottle so far up your ass it will come out of your nose," Fong said to LaFata.

Fong made the remark as LaFata reported to the senate Fong's absence from Monday night's Constitutional and Procedural Review Committee meeting.

Executive Vice President Han Hong threatened to call the police and ordered Fong to leave the room.

Fong later explained he was responding to a rumor that the meeting had adjourned early in order to input an absence on Fong's record.

ASUC bylaws state that a senator who is absent from more than five committee meetings will be terminated from the position.

Costa, LaFata and Fong said the rumor was later determined invalid.

"As far as I stand, there is no animosity between anyone on Constitutional Review," Costa said. "I have no political intention of trying to screw anyone."

Fong said he apologized to LaFata and Costa after he made the remark.
