A woman was the victim of a strong arm robbery Monday night on Southside near Priestley Hall in Unit 3, according to a UCPD crime alert issued Tuesday.

At around 6:40 p.m. Monday night, the woman was walking down the 2400 block of Channing Way when she was pushed to the ground by a male suspect who allegedly grabbed her purse but dropped it as he fled. The alert states that the victim sustained a minor injury during the incident.

After responding and searching the area, UCPD officers were unable to locate the suspect, the alert states.

The suspect is described as male wearing a green or gray coat.
