A man was arrested in People's Park Thursday afternoon on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after he allegedly struck another man with a chain multiple times.

Sebastian Rain Valentino, 40, was arrested by UCPD officers at about 4:50 p.m. on April 14 when the officers responded to the park following an altercation between Valentino and a 34-year-old man. According to a UCPD crime alert detailing the incident, the victim suffered lacerations after Valentino allegedly took out a length of chain and struck him with it several times.
