An ASUC Judicial Council ruling issued Sunday afternoon will delay the recall election of Senator John Moghtader, originally scheduled for Monday and Tuesday.
The ruling determined that because of the lack of publicity for the election, it could not be conducted fairly and in accordance with the ASUC Constitution and bylaws at the scheduled time.
The ASUC Senate must now reschedule and hold a recall election "within four (4) full semester weeks, or as soon as it is feasible," according to the organization's bylaws.
