A woman was robbed of her iPhone Friday night while standing at a bus stop on Durant and College avenues, according to a UCPD crime alert released Tuesday.
At around 8:45 p.m. Friday night, the woman was standing at the bus stop and looking at her iPhone when she was pushed from behind into the bus stop sign and her phone was taken from her, the alert states.
According to the alert, the victim said she believes the suspect was a male, based on how strongly she was pushed. She sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
Officers from the Berkeley Police Department searched the area but could not locate the suspect.
There is no suspect description at this time.
