Officers from the Berkeley Police Department arrested a man last week for allegedly exposing himself to a woman.

The suspect, Gurrala Reddy, 33, was positively identified by the victim after being apprehended by police, according to an Oct. 21 UCPD crime alert.

The alert states the Berkeley Police Department received a call from the victim at around 10:26 p.m. Oct. 19, reporting she was approached by a man while standing on the corner of Dwight Way and Shattuck Avenue. Reddy allegedly attempted to solicit the victim and then followed her, exposed himself to her and "performed a lewd act" after she refused.

The victim was not injured during the incident, according to the alert.
