Cal Leads in La Quinta

The No. 22 Cal men's golf team holds the lead of the Alister MacKenzie Invitational going into the final round, which will be played today. The Bears, who host the 54-hole tournament in Fairfax, CA, shot spectacular rounds of 262 and 266 yesterday, topping the leaderboard at 40-under par. Cal will head into today's round with a 10-stroke lead over No. 15 San Diego State. Freshman Ben An is tied for the individual lead with San Diego State's Alex Kang at 13-under par thru 36 holes.
The Meadow Club was a course to be had, with 2 of the 16 teams in the tournament were under par thru 2 rounds.
